The NAHN–Michigan Chapter proudly congratulates Zachariah Hernandez on his selection as a 2026 Brain Health Equity Fellow through the UsAgainstAlzheimer’s Brain Health Equity Fellowship.
Supported by the National Association of Hispanic Nurses (NAHN), the National Black Nurses Association (NBNA), and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), this national fellowship prepares nurse leaders to serve as Brain Health Ambassadors advancing dementia awareness, prevention, and equity in underserved communities.
Zachariah’s commitment to brain health, community advocacy, and health equity reflects the mission and values of NAHN–MI. We are proud to see one of our members representing Michigan at the national level and leading the way in brain health equity.
